A great way to get started! This is a once off 1-hour session held Monday to Thursday evenings between 7 and 8pm and Saturday and Sunday Mornings between 11 and 12pm and again from 2 – 3pm.
Booking is required and climbers must be 14 years or older. The course includes:
– Gear rental (shoes, harness, belay device)
– Basic safety procedures
– Figure 8 tie-in knot
– Top rope belay skills
– Top rope climbing
– Free climbing after the course
Cost: R250 per person
A once-off 2 hour session. Booking is required and climbers must be 16 years or older.
The course includes:
– Gear rental
– Lead belaying skills
– Lead climbing techniques
– Correct clipping of quick draws
– 15% discount voucher off your lead gear (rope & quickdraws) from the Gear Shop
Cost: R350 per person
Please note that in order to do the Lead Course you must already have the skills from the Introductory Course, as well as your own gear (Rope and ATC) and climbing partner.

All Technique courses cost R280 for a 2 hour session. Courses are available Monday to Thursday between 9am to 3pm or 5-7pm. Booking is essential. 50% cancellation fee applies, if less than 48 hours’ notice given.
FITNESS ASSESMENT AND 1 MONTH PROGRAM
Comprehensive Fitness assessment which will broaden your understanding of your personal health and fitness goals while providing baseline measurements of your current endurance, strength, flexibility and climbing level. A 1 month training program will be supplied after the assessment from your dedicated coach that will give you the guidance needed to reach you’re climbing and fitness goals. The assessment can be taken multiple times to measure your improvement and give new and improved goals as your fitness grows and improves.
BALANCE & TECHNIQUE (Climbing or Bouldering)
Looking for greater ease in your climbing? This 2 hour course focuses on finding balance through precise footwork and optimal body positions, sequencing, and how to find rests. The skills taught in this class are essential to every climber, from beginner to advance. This class benefits the climber who wants to learn better climbing technique, establish good climbing for lead climbing, and those pushing harder grades.
Pre-req: Top Rope belay certified.
POWER AND ENDURANCE (Climbing or Bouldering)
If you’re frustrated by a project, this course can help, whether you’re pushing for a sustained powerful route or an epic 12-move boulder odyssey. Power and Endurance is a 2 hour session with a dedicated coach to improve your explosive power and help you break through an endurance plateau.
The course can be taken multiple times and is customized to each participant’s abilities. The curriculum focuses on adapting training to your personal needs, whether you are a newer climber who is looking to push harder, or an advanced climber seeking to hone strength.
Pre-req: Students are highly encouraged to have a basic background in Balance & Technique and climbing 18/5C and higher comfortably.
SUPPLIMENTARY CONDITIONING (Climbing or Bouldering)
For the more advanced, this course is structured around strengthening that isolates specific muscle groups, flexibility and muscle imbalances to give you that extra edge to send your project.
Pre-req: For the advanced climber looking to strengthen specific areas for a specific project. Climbing grades 21+
