CityROCK coaching is a perfect start or a great next step on your climbing journey. Our coaches have coached at club, provincial, national and international competitions. Some of our coaches have climbed competitively, represented SA overseas and climbed some of South Africa’s hardest lines and problems. This means you’re getting some of the best coaching available in SA. Our goal is to take climbing in South Africa to the next level. We do this by staying current with international coaching practices and theory, having top facilities and equipment and creating an atmosphere that builds you up and equips you to be the best climber you can be. Our athletes have competed around the world, representing SA and CityROCK in many prestigious climbing events. They have won provincial and national titles, set SA records and climbed hard outside.

Kids (aged 6 and up) are placed in one of four teams depending on their skills and age after a free trial session with squad chosen by the coaches. If all the squads are full in their age group, they will need to complete a 30 minute free assessment with one of our coaches and they’ll be put on a waiting list.

Please email coach@cityrock.co.za to set this up or for more information.
