CityROCK Cape Town boasts 2,500m² of high wall climbing; 180 top rope anchors; 16 automatic belay walls; 600m² of bouldering; a well-stocked outdoor Gear Shop; a beautiful yoga studio; a cardio and strength training area; and a dedicated beginners’ climbing area for birthday parties, kids, and courses. An instore Vida é Café for all your coffee and food cravings. If you have never rock climbed or seen the inside of a world class indoor climbing gym, CityROCK is definitely worth a visit! The aesthetic design and sheer height of the colourful walls (and let’s not forget the great coffee) will leave you amazed and eager to jump onto a route. Come and give it a try.

CityRock is amazing! They have such friendly staff who are incredibly helpful. Well kept premises with lots to offer. And the coffee shop is a nice touch. You can spend hours here!
I love the gym. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bouldering and climbing gyms are updated weekly so there is always something fresh to climb. The workout section upstairs is comprehensive and the yoga / Pilates studio is spacious and light. The whole place has an energetic and fun vibe!
What an amazing experience! Worth every cent. The climbing experience for adults and kids was a first time and we couldn't get enough. The facilities were clean and the staff were very helpful. The five star rati g is for City Rock. The Vida Cafe gets a 2 star rating, they neeed a but more training.

I have been there multiple times and each time was wonderful and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
My wife and I are from Seattle (US) and have traveled and been to climbing gyms all over the world (Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, etc). This gym is as good (and as large) as any gym we've been to in the world. Over 180 anchors/ropes around the gym, lots of bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing available. Staff were super friendly, locker facilities were nice, and the place just had an overall great vibe. If we lived in Cape Town, we would be members here in a heartbeat.
The gym is great. There are a huge variety of routes for both bouldering, top rope and lead climbing. There is a Vida Cafe and an awesome gear shop as well as a full gym and yoga studio.
