CityROCK minimum age: 5
Bookings are required for day-pass kids under 13.
Child members do not need to book.

Children love to climb and CityROCK is a place for them to have fun and to develop fine muscle control, gain a sense of achievement and body awareness and for those who take it more seriously, to develop the correct climbing skills.

Children under 16 years old must be supervised by their parent or guardian at all times. We do not provide supervision.

We have a 1 adult/parent to 2 child supervision ratio. Make sure there is the correct supervision ratio on your visit to avoid disappointments on arrival.

Please read our kids safety and rules before visiting CityROCK to ensure you have a hassle free and fun experience. Masks must be worn at all times in the facility.

Everyone entering CityROCK needs to complete a waiver, regardless of whether they are climbing or simply observing. Any child over the age of 5 can climb at CityROCK once their parent or guardian has signed a child waiver on their behalf. For children under 18 years of age, the waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian*. If the parent or guardian will not be present, please bring a photocopy of the adult’s government-issued ID or Drivers licence for verification. *Please note: legal guardians must present proof of guardianship to sign a child’s waiver.

Bookings are required for kids under 13 to climb at CityROCK. No walk-in customers will be permitted.

The kids climbing sessions are 2 hours, if you would like more climbing time you are welcome to book multiple sessions on the same day. Bookings can be done through the booking site. One booking per kid attending is required. If no bookings show for a specific time slot/day, we are fully booked.

Testimonials

Thanks so much for your and your teams help today. I didn’t anticipate so many boys’, and it really did go smoothly. I really appreciate all the help, encouragement and reassurance given to the boys.  Lots of parents told me how great it was for the boys, and I’m sure you will get some extra visitors from it.

Thanks again, please pass on my thanks and especially from Leo who appears to have found his forte in climbing!

Rachel

I would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff of CityROCK and those who specifically assisted with Daniel’s party for a wonderful time.  All the kids left on Sunday invigorated and talking about the next time they will be back. This was not my first time at City ROCK, but every time I sit and observe the staff I am impressed by the extreme safety measures they take with the little ones.  What stands out most for me is how they encourage the kids to try their best and overcome their fear.  I have seen such kindness and gentleness by young employees, which is very touching.

Please share this with your team as they truly deserve the compliment.

Liza Sigamoney

We would like to thank you and your amazing team for a wonderful time at CityROCK yesterday for Denis’s birthday party. Everyone was impressed and excited about the facilities and team of people.

We will be back and hope to join as members.

Have a lovely day,
Sanet and Denis

I would like to extend a HUGE THANKS to you and your team for my son’s 6th birthday party on Sunday past! The kids had a HUGE BLAST and from the feedback, including the parents it was a great success. I didn’t get a chance to say thank you to two of your staff who in fact made a BIG impact on the kids: Cathy and George. Without their patience and work with the kids, I am sure the day would have been tough to manage. I can guarantee that all the kids that came WILL be coming again to your venue! Plus I will certainly recommend this to anyone wishing to do a party in the future.

Please pass on my thanks – A job WELL DONE!

Paul

We celebrated our daughters 8th birthday at CityROCK in September 2013 and were super happy with everything. Right from the initial inquiry, it all went simply and smoothly, no complications or mixed messages. The gym is in great shape and offers a really exciting and safe experience for the kids. The instructors were really patient with the more apprehensive learners and really excited for the daredevils! All of the parents who arrived to pick up their children and who hadn’t been in before were amazed and really pleased with the venue. We felt we were in really competent and safe hands for the whole 2 hours. We would recommend CityROCK to other kids and parents who want to experience and practice rock climbing! Thanks to the team!

Just a quick line to say that the party yesterday was a great success. The boys and their parents thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. One parent’s comment was that this could have a life changing effect on some of the children – and indeed as we watched some of them that were quite fearful to start off with, gain their confidence and conquer their fear, it really was wonderful. Please thank your instructors – they were both excellent with the children, helping and encouraging.

Thank you all.
Regards,
Debbie Norman
