CityROCK has everything from 16m high walls for sport climbing to 5m bouldering walls, a dedicated kid’s zone and even an in-house café.
We also offer a fully equipped strength and cardio training gym. All our gym equipment is designed to improve your climbing but may be used on its own to just get strong. Please note that our Pretoria branch does not have a yoga and Pilates studio.
Courses
New to climbing? Or want to further your expertise? The best way to get started is with our climbing Introduction courses. We also have more advanced courses to help you progress. Our instructors will coach you through the necessary skills
Top Rope and Lead Climbing
Beginner or pro, there’s a place for you to play and challenge yourself on our high walls.
Bouldering
Bouldering is an exciting and fast growing style of climbing that is very social and a great way for climbers to hone their climbing skills and build strength.
Kids Zone
Introduce your kids to their new favourite activity and throw the birthday party of the year.
Fitness Gym
Grow your flexibility and strength with our fully equipped fitness area with space and equipment for cardio, weight training, and stretching. There is also a dedicated climbing training area offering hangboards, a moon board and a spray wall! Other climbing-specific training apparatus such as campas boards coming soon.
Kids Birthday Parties
Give your little one a celebration to remember with a CityROCK birthday party!
With staff members supervising and leading two hours of fun, you can sit back and relax with a good cup of coffee as the kiddies play games, learn about climbing and (of course) enjoy ample time on the walls.
Team Building Events
We offer different packages to suit your team and their energy levels. The group will be introduced to indoor climbing and will work with our staff in a safe, yet exhilarating environment.
