Top Rope climbing is a form of climbing when you climb up a high wall or rock face while being supported by a rope that is already anchored at the top of the wall. Requires a team of two: climber and belayer.
Lead climbing requires a team of two: climber and belayer. The belayer stays on the ground and controls the rope attached to the climber using a belay device in the event of a fall. The rope is clipped into fixed protection by the climber as he progresses up the climbing wall.
