Technique Course
Looking to polish up your climbing performance and gain confidence on the walls? Sign yourself up for a 1-hour CityROCK Technique Course!

Where: CityROCK bouldering section
Cost: R250 per person (includes gear & climbing for the day)
Along with covering the essentials of proper climbing technique, we’ll also go over safe falling and spotting, hold identification and use, warming up, cooling down, and more tips & tricks that will make you a stronger, safer sender 💪
Please note that course participants must be 13 years or older.

Quiz Night & Climb – Supporting Our Youth World Championship Team | 5 June 2026
Some of our young climbers are heading to Arco, Italy to represent South Africa at the World Climbing Youth Championship – and we want to send them off in style! Join us at CityROCK Cape Town for a climbing-themed quiz night and a special evening of community and celebration.
Date: 5 June 2026
Climbing challenge: 4-6pm
Quiz starts: 6:30pm
From 4pm, get on the wall before the fun kicks off – our setters are putting up special routes just for the occasion. Climb them on a pay-what-you-can basis, and see how high you can get on your first attempt. The person with the best highpoint takes home a prize!
At 6:30pm, the quiz begins. WCC parents have pulled together an impressive lineup of sponsors, so expect some seriously cool prizes up for grabs on the night. Bring your crew, your climbing knowledge, and your competitive spirit.
Adult juices will be available for purchase – please note, no climbing after consuming!
