Technique Course
Looking to polish up your climbing performance and gain confidence on the walls? Sign yourself up for a 1-hour CityROCK Technique Course!

Where: CityROCK bouldering section
Cost: R250 per person (includes gear & climbing for the day)
Along with covering the essentials of proper climbing technique, we’ll also go over safe falling and spotting, hold identification and use, warming up, cooling down, and more tips & tricks that will make you a stronger, safer sender 💪
Please note that course participants must be 13 years or older.

Expect a full day of sport climbing, chaos, community and celebration, all happening right here in Cape Town.
Want to kick things off early? Join us at CityROCK Cape Town on 20 March for an exclusive screening of Brit Rock V, the perfect warm-up before the main event.
There’ll be plenty of goodies up for grabs for climbers of all ages and skill levels, and we can confidently say this is shaping up to be a jol you won’t forget.
Join us on 20 March 2026 (18:30 for 19:00) for an epic night of climbing films, big sends and proper adventure vibes. The BritRock Film Tour is back with the very best new climbing and adventure stories from the UK. Expect epic ascents, big laughs and the kind of inspiration that’ll have you planning your next trip before the credits roll.
The next day is the Cape Town Rock Rally, and we’ll be running pre-registration at BritRock, along with handing out all pre-ordered event shirts.
Pre-registration is perfect for anyone wanting to head straight to the crags first thing on Saturday morning – no need to swing by the gym before you get on rock.
